dont know if this is the correct forum where this should be.

anyways long story short, i sent in my hest folder to dpx gear for warranty repairs almost a month ago. got it back today and although some of the problems were taken care of, some were not and there are new problems.

so i emailed customer service asking for a refund and received a reply saying to get in contact with the dealer i purchased it from and he will most likely have me send it back to him and then he will issue a refund.

i didnt buy the knife from a dealer, i got it NIB from a forum member. so im guessing i have to get in contact with that member and find out where he got it then contact the dealer.

im just wondering if DPx's "no questions asked, if youre not 100% satisfied" guaranty only covers original buyers? i have no receipt or proof of purchase to show the dealer that i bought the knife so how does that work?

Email RYP directly on his forums. Try calling them directly too. I was going to buy this knife, but when the issues and meltdowns occurred, I cancelled my orders post haste. Best of luck.

A refund is a lot to ask if you weren't the original buyer, IMO
But they are standing by their product and have already serviced it once.
I would send it back repeatedly until they accomplish the fix:thumbup:

I would post over on the DPX forum,
It's all the rage....and the best place to get help on the subject:cool::cool:

lol too much to ask for a "no questions asked" guaranty?

i made an account over there and pm'd RYP directly. i also sent a pm to the forum member i bought it from to find out where it was purchased.

for someone who didn't buy the knife from them? I can't think of any company out there who would refund money for a thirdhand purchase. Maybe you should just post it on the exchange?
