Perhaps they do, you're likely right

Best bet would be to just leave this thread alone.

Regardless of whether people think you're a knife flipper or not, based on this thread, is really irrelevant.

I don't believe the facts here prove that you are, and if you are, so what?

It's a free hobby, enjoy it how you like.
You haven't broken any rules, so this is all just someone calling you out.

Adding to an issue THEY have, makes it worse then it is, especially when you continue to carry on and insult people.
It just opens up another can of worms...

You answered the OP's question, I for one am fine with your explanation (not that it should matter to you)

Anyone who isn't, is just trying to read way too deep into this...

I'm not interested in the "flipping" issue. I would like to know whether the original post was edited after someone else had claimed the knife that wasn't included in the original "I'll take the X" post.

Me too. Should the OP be able to claim the second knife if in fact that is the way things went?
This is the only issue on the table.

1.It would still come down to -The seller can sell to whomever he wants.
2. If the OP was trying to claim 2 knives that isn't automatically transferable to a claim of the remaining knife. Maybe he only wanted the deal if he could get both. The seller would have to go through the process of asking him if he wanted just the one.
Regardless at this point the seller has made the deal(may have already shipped?) and he can't really go back on the deal he made, even if there was a slight bit of line jumping(?-it happens).
Just some thoughts -others may look at it differently

Peter Hartwig - The way I see it, if Reignman edited his original post to claim a knife that he didn't originally claim, after someone else had claimed it (if you look at the original sale thread, you'll see that the time on the the two posts was identical), that would be good information to have. It would indicate that Reignman is, indeed, "shady." It would be a dishonest move. I don't know whether he did that or not, as he hasn't yet answered the question. Whether the mods are able to determine whether he did that, I don't know. If they can, I think they should, and they should tell us whether it happened and whether it's ok to do it.

All this over the software's refusal to identify an edit in a short time frame. This is all piffling. There will be other knives for the OP to buy. More threads should be sent to W&C.

As far as I know there isn't a rule against line jumping. I have had it happen in one of my sales and committed to the sale before I figured out it had happened. I was not pleased, and don't condone it. Luckily it is rare that it works. As I mentioned some sellers don't follow the line anyway, and sell to whoever they choose.

I'll add:
I look at rules and laws this way- Just because there isn't a rule or law against it, doesn't make it right to do.

It's pretty telling that the subject of this thread completely ignored that part of it, but went on a tangent over the flipping accusations and called OP a woman, etc. I think we have our answer.

The only thing that is clear that I got from reading this thread (actually from reading the original sales thread as a result of reading this read) is that the OP of that sales thread is a REALLY good guy.

I originally posted sorta in favor of Reignman and although I don't think he did anything "wrong" and there was no need for this thread in the first place, he is now on my list also just because I could see a future deal with him going south quickly and having to deal with attitude. Dealing with mine is already hard enough ;)

Thanks for the research Craytab! My list grows as well.

Careful who you ignore. This guy is kinda a bad*ss.

(From Reignmann's 'bio' on his firearms training website.)

Rob G.
Rob's background can be summarized in many ways but to say it as simply as we can, he's the guy you want around when
the shit goes bad. A martial arts expert, Rob has made a career out of his experiences in training other individuals. While he does
his best to speak softly and carry a big stick sometimes, situations don't allow that. Some people just have the ability to calm
those around them, make the necessary decisions and impliment tactics, we call them leaders, Rob is one of the best. With
his extensive training in the manipulations of firearms, he has a strong ability to teach those around him. What sets Rob apart from
instructors with other programs is his ability to make certain his student is receving the knowledge presented and will retain it.
Rob's love for teaching those around him is infectious and without question, he's seen his share of bad instructors,
he refuses to be one.

That is some damn good writing!!!

almost makes me want to throw some cash their way to become a Badd-ass myself!!!

After reading his responses in this thread the only thing I see is a young ego/testosterone driven young male with an attitude . His Bio states he is the calming presence in scary situations but all I see is a child who resorts to insults that are demeaning to woman . and to think he has firearms on him 24/7 and is easily manipulated into chest thumping antics makes me think that someday in the future he will be involved in an "incident" where people end up hurt or dead all over some perceived infraction of his manhood

their videos display nothing more than young boys with guns showing off and strutting around like peacocks because they can point an AR-15 and pull the trigger.
