I'll take shunning until the RBK is in my hands. Until then I'm doing a little crossover - since Rowen makes the BK-12, I'll take the Rowen made Junglas as my substitute until the RBK is in my hand. It's not my fault. I mean, I already have a 9, 4 and a Brute. I've played with the 6, but it's too much $$ to procure one. I'm a believer, but the gods of Ka-Bar must show me their RBK before I'll supplicate. Maybe I should start buying some CS Khukris.....;)

Or maybe not. What can I say? I am a bit of a steel slut.
 
I've already got the Junglas, though. It is a lot of fun to use. We just need to stop talking about the RBK until it's released. A little silent rebellion.

well, i know how you feel. i bought two "bonecutter" khukris, very nice. very very nice.

pretty much done with knives for now. for a while. have a lot. more interested in projects and SHOPPE and other tools :D

i might even use some knives...

definitely axes and saws...
 
Really slowed down on my Becker purchases. Been buying hunting gear, guns, ammo, stuff like that. I hope to USE my knives more this year.

When the RBK comes out, hell yes I will buy one.

I am definitely looking forward to this knife. I didn't realize it was going to take this long though!! My wife gave me money for a RBK for Christmas!!

For those of you with more experience than me buying new release beckers right out of the gate, will they be more expensive at first? Do yall predict the price of these things going up, down or staying consistent over time? Of course I want it right away but we are a blue collar family home and I can't afford to pay sucker prices!! Lol.

GSOM, while waiting for the RBK, I got myself that Nepalese Khukuri... which has lead me down an unexpected road!

Once the Rbk comes out, it will be compared with as many comparable khukuris as I can get my hands on... including a similarly sized and modernly handles Nepalese model, and my Beast!

It is odd how waiting for the Rbk has changed my life... all of the sudden I am designing knives and having them produced in Nepal! And the owner might be coming to my house in a few days!

I'll pay the extra shipping!!!

I can do without the sheath except when I'm sleeping with it next to me, I'll just wrap it in a towel.

The old black leather sheaths that came with the blackjack model kukri were not bad at all. kind of a put up and out design if you guys understand what I mean by that. I hope the new sheath is something like that.
