Well I’m so glad to have been wrong about thinking it wasn’t going to be here today. It shipped to a different hub it was already at previously, but happy ending today after all
This Q is so frickin awesomely & wickedly sick! I am just blown away. It it pretty massive and just gorgeous! I’m in awe
. The pictures everyone’s been posting that I’ve been looking at since the 1st Q came out. None do them any justice until you have one In the hand yourself.

I think the Q is perfection but I’m a huge sucker for Ti Torx fasteners so I did a little experimenting…
I had a hunch after taking the fasteners out last night to polish the heads that they shared the same thread pitch, thread length, and similar countersink angle as the Ti fasteners that CPK uses in their “short” fasteners.
Looks like I was correct!
Nothing at all wrong with the hardware Josh picked for this fine work of art but again I have a thing for colored Ti. I hope this isn’t considered taboo or voids my warranty in some way
Here’s a comparison between stock and Ti Torx
They even sit nice and sub flush within the scales!
I think the blue contrasts beautifully with the oatmeal micarta and really makes it pop!

I don’t know how, but when I posted the REK Family with my Q, I forgot my Ember 3.0 duh 
(my 1st REK lol)
I did put mineral oil on my scales to expedite the grubbyness from my hands through handling. It turned out too smooth and darkened a little. You can see the brown specs in there now more betterer
