Try scout carry up front. That's how I set up my kydex sheath. Reach across with my right hand to 11 o'clock and pull out horizontally. It locks in the sheath perfectly. See my post above about moving one screw for better access with easy draw, resheathing and strong retention.Has anyone installed a belt adapter on the kydex sheath? I'm looking at the Sagewood one. I have that on some other kydex sheaths and it works good. If I install a belt clip on the sheath now it will ride too high for me. I've got some shoulder issues or maybe I've got a donut and ice cream problem. Either way I need it lower. Grabbing my carry gun iwb at 1-2 oclock is ok. I would wear a thigh rig if that was acceptable.

Maybe I’ll see if Josh can get me one.
If he can’t, the sagewood dangler is longer:Maybe I’ll see if Josh can get me one.
yeah I love the drop loops and the velcro on them works amazingly well. I like the drop loops because they make the height of the handle sit perfect... some other carry options on the belt make the handle sit up in my ribs lol. And, I can't take credit for the drop loops... the design is that of Mashed Cat Outfitters which he made for my first run of Q's but since he stopped making them and sheath for me I started making everything in house haha
I do have a few extra but the big thing is that I would need your sheath so I can make the backing plate that the drop loop connects toMaybe I’ll see if Josh can get me one.
That’s the one I was looking at. I’ve got one for one of my mashed cats that I got that didn’t have anything from owner. If he can’t, the sagewood dangler is longer:

Loving the black/red color scheme! So this beauty arrived today. Top class
Thanks, black micarta with red liners is always my go tooLoving the black/red color scheme!
I use them on two or three knives. Excellent gear. I usually buy the combo which includes the dangler for more options.I ordered the belt loop sheath adapter from Sagewood Gear. Should be here in couple days.
I have them on a couple also and also have an extra dangler if needed. The main part I needed was the part that mounts to the sheath but for $10 more the belt loop also and that keeps me from having to look for something so thats a plus. Or not depends who you ask. LOL Everytime I need to do a plumbing project I buy a roll of tape. Cleaning out garage last weekend I found like 8 rolls with just a little used. Told my wife at least they are only like a dollar.
