For whatever its worth, my daughter broke the screen on her laptop and I got a used one on Ebay for $40 and had Best Buy install it for another $40. Not cheap, but a lot less than your Rem 870.
Cheapest I have found a used screen for has been 150.00.
I will open this up a bit and say I might be willing to ship to your FFL.
The computer needs to be on the newer side but does not need to be a rocket.The one she had was an Everex from wal mart.Something with say within a year or 2 old and wireless capable.
