Remington "Bullet" Lovers, Post Your Pix

Here's a R1630. A year 2000 model.

I have an R3843 original version of the one shown below, but it has the round shield. Is that still considered a bullet knife? Are both the regular and round shield considered bullets? (see pic attached)

I would imagine a piece with the bullet shield would be considered a bullet series piece but then who cares if it's one of the true originals. Here's another repro. R1253.

you have some beautiful knives!!!!! Thanks, I'm just fuzzy on whether the regualr bullet shields AND the circle shields were both considered "Bullet" shields... repro or original

A search on the History of Remington Bullet Knives might turn something up. I don't know if the original bullets were a series or not or how many patterns had the bullet shield.
Here's another repro from '88. A R4466.

My one and only Rem-Bullet. Maybe some of you bullet guys could date this one for me. I am not crazy about the scales. I won't mention names but a flyfishing and knife nut buddy of mine called and said I had to buy one of these. I keep it as a reminder that things are not always as HE says. don't get me wrong I love all knives, but I think these scales were a bad decision (my opinion).

It's easy to see how the knives have gotten ' Watered Down" once you look at one of the originals. Still fun tho !

This has been one of the coolest threads in a long time IMHO.

Sent me into a Google search frenzy.

Great knives all. :thumbup::D

Greg, you need to reach into the back of the knife safe more often. Great thread, thanks to all who have posted. I wish I had one to post.

I ran out of bullets but I'm slobbering all over an original muskrat (2 blade) bullet a dealer friend of mine has in town. But all I have to trade of that caliber is my stag 1306, and that ain't happening..... so,
I HOPE TO SEE MORE BULLETS AND/OR INFORMATION/STORIES ABOUT BULLETS POSTED HERE
