Remington "Bullet" Lovers, Post Your Pix

The second issue of the Delrin Series was in '83. The Baby Bullet or R1173.

'89 was the year the big trapper was issued with cocabolo scales. The R1128. You're right Robuck. I need to look thru the old vault from time to time to see what grew in there.

The wood handled piece wasn't favored well by collectors when it first came out. Didn't seem to fit in with the other releases. Times do change.

In '98 this damascus and pearl baby bullet was released. The R1173-D that came with a ceramic box. The big trapper was also released in damascus and pearl but I am not sure of the year. I have only seen a few of them.

Do any of you carry one of your Bullets???????????????????
If so which one?

I carry both the 2003 Pioneer (1178 Cocobolo Baby Bullet)
and my original 1306 Stag trapper Bullet (in a pouch, of course):D

I will get to scanning some of these and posting. You won't believe the prices: $2.75 for an 1123 in 1930!!!. A dollar in 1930 was worth about $12.00 today, so it's actually closer to $35 ;)

I've been thinking about giving this little guy a try. The tangs sit down fairly well and are ground not to have any sharp corners.

That last one is realy nice in its shape. I almost bought one back in 2001 when fallkniven stopt being grossist for other brands then their own. Bought some benchmades then instead. That type of knifeinterest is now gone. Wery nice proportions on htat ranchhand.

A 4 1/4" R4353 Woodsman would fill your pocket. I am hoping these photos are displaying ok. Otherwise I posted a ton of screw ups !

Greg, the pictures are displaying much better than just OK, outstanding if you ask me.

R4356 Bush Pilot. About the same knife as the Woodsman except for the scales.

I bought this Woodsman brand new in 1985. As you can see it's seen a little use, but not a whole lot. I keep it in the original box with the factory tissue paper and the Remington flyer.
