Camillus was the maker I believe. If I remember correctly, it should be a 1996 or '97. They came with the ceramic container like the one in the image. They also produced the large trapper in pearl and damascus and they are fewer in number. They had a problem finding decent pearl large enough to cover the large trapper so there were usually minor imperfections in the pearl scales. It seems to me that there was more than just one release of the pearl and damascus bullet trappers just a few years apart. Both low in number.

I'm just as enthralled with the ceramic box as I am with the pearly trapper.
So cool. :cool::thumbup:

Jess Horn designated this Model RLL. It is a copy of the Remington R-1253. I purchased this knive many years ago and it is one of my favorites. Jess no longer makes the bullet knife patterns.

The second photo is of all the patterns that Jess made of the bullet knives.

What can I say? Breathtaking!!
Especially the 1123 with cocobolo - beautiful :)

Peter, The Remington cocobolo R-1128 is the rarest made by Jess. No more than six of them were made.

2toes,

1128 - of course. What a great knife!
Thanks for confirming my good taste :D
Now I have even one more on the list of unfulfilled wishes ...

Thanks,
Peter

First time I have seen all the Jess Horn Bullet patterns - simply stunning !!:thumbup: Many thanks for showing them - I am envious.

Jess Horn is one of my favorite, if not favorite makers. Thanks for sharing.

this great thread motivated me to take a couple of pictures of my Bowen Bullet knives, probably made in the 70s and 80s:

I like them.

I've got two other Trappers made by Bowen. They were made for LL.Bean, one in Stag:
