I don't agree. If you were concerned about the OP you would have tried to help him, no? Rather you just insulted others...

Neither do I. These threads, heavy on the insults, tend to go on and on, up and down. No one plea for kindness will help.

As I said, my intention with my original comment was to point out that it wasn't necessary to insult or humiliate the OP. I did it by insulting those who were being unnecessarily snarky to the OP, and that resulted in a ding. A review of that thread suggests that it may have helped redirect the focus. I shouldn't have said it in quite the way I did, but the intent was to help the OP. I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish here.

What are you trying to accomplish? You provided no help to the op, you insulted other members, you sent me a nasty pm, and now you are taking credit for turning the thread around. Defending your awesome character after a red card? Okay then. Think what you want. I won't post in this thread anymore as there is no point. Hopefully you enjoy crafting your next insulting response.

You mean the op that was moved from another thread because he derailed it with insults? Is that the sort of conduct you agree with? If I were the op, I'd make this thread take a dirt nap. It is serving no useful purpose here. Want to talk junk? There is a place for that.

It is my most fervent hope that in this post I can disabuse you of any misapprehensions that may be contributing to that misunderstanding. I will do my utmost to accomplish that in a way that strictly adheres to the rule against insulting other members. You may have to give particularly close attention to the words used in order to not misinterpret them as an insult. I encourage you to do that. You are, of course, free to make whatever use of this information you deem appropriate.

Here goes: It is a metaphysical impossibility for me to care less what you think or say about me, or anything else. Now, I understand that this information will have no effect on your seemingly irresistible impulse to broadcast your every thought, criticism, and word of wisdom to whatever audience you imagine yourself to have, and that's just fine. Just please don't make the mistake of thinking that any of it is the least bit consequential to me. I hope this helps.

(Note: I considered closing this thread after I submit the above but decided against it. I don't think any thread should ever be closed, whether by member or moderator. If a moderator wants to close it, that's within the authority and discretion granted by the owner, but I won't do it).

As Craytab and I have "virtually" (and offline) shaken hands and agreed to move on from this, I'm going to break my personal rule and close this (assuming I can). Nothing good can come from the implicit invitation to additional comments.
