He always puts up this flag to celebrate my duality!!!

Was there a factory tour this time ?
Charlie, Rick and Lyle, it looks as though you guys went with a packed wallet, and it was literally Loot you all returned home with! The Buys, the gifts you received, all great reading which took me back nearly 10 years when Paul and I managed to get there!

No factory tours at least for the past four years I've been attending. I did suggest to William that it would be great if they could bring them back but hard given all the prep they are trying to do.

The factory tour consists of a self tour around the mezzanine, peeking into the various production steps!! It took too much time from Bill and William, from their other duties, to conduct tours!!

This year's Event was a roaring success, despite intermittent, momentary rainstorming! Some of the old faces were there, and a lot of new ones which was very encouraging
for our hobby!! Meals together, and a great picnic full of good food and knife chatter made it a joyous event!!
I shipped my acquisitions, and they finally arrived, so I thought I'd start a thread for all to show off their celebration cutlery!!

Another great Rendezvous, really happy you could make it this year Charlie and glad that stag Wostenholm ended up with you, can't beat the old stag.

This year there were great knives available in the store and outside the store, unusual year for me as I picked up 3 older Great Eastern knives along with the Rendezvous knife and the SFA's. I think that the Elk swing guard was a great choice for the 20 year anniversary knife and very happy Bill made enough of them that pretty much everyone that wanted one could get one.

Donna and I always enjoy catching up and talking with all our knife friends, already looking forward to next year.

I would happily volunteer my services as Factory Tour Guide....I envisage a full Willy Wonka type tour with participants getting heat treated, ground,hammered and put into giant tubes...

Looks like you got some great stuff, Charlie! That OG Soup Bone is particularly cool! Interesting tube poppers, as well. (I have one of the slim metal ones with no handles, but it rarely gets used; 99 times out of a hundred I just use the pivot end of another knife.)

I have one of the slim metal ones with no handles, but it rarely gets used

I must say that I found the thick, bare metal tube popper to be a fantastic all-round tool. Apart from popping tubes I use it as a screwdriver for various screws, pry bar, disassemby tool, and god knows what esle. It is tuff, compact, and handy. Love it!

I've only popped Tubes and opened Blades with mine, but they are indeed great!!

I got the balance of the knives that I shipped to myself today, from the Rendezvous!! The top 3 in the pic are SFOs, and the fourth knife is a Stag #33,
that I've been looking for, for quite a while!!
