Well I used to get my knives from Savson, but they just sold their online site to someone else. I am trying to get a couple Benchmade Griptilians for friends that are visiting this weekend and I am looking for suggestions.

I live in the San Francisco area.

-REI has a few models, but not really what I wanted
-There are a few specialty blade stores in the bay area, but they charge retail.
-I have seen these knives for 70-80$ each

if anyone can help point me to an online location or a retail location it would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Ken

Check out www.knifeworks.com. I don't know if they're the absolute cheapest place, but they have a very good Griptillian selection. I've purchased from them several times and wouldn't hesitate to again.

BM's are going to get scarce, for a while as they switch to a direct sales only framework for distribution; eliminating all third party distribution of Benchmade products (i.e. Moteng, etc will no longer distribute Benchmade).
