I'd like some help and/or information. Last year I ordered 2 knives from Mr. Tim Britton (one of each size of his Krait II knives). According to his last e-mail (aug./09), the knives were almost completed and would be delivered soon.
Since then, not a single word, despite an e-mail sent to him in January. Is he still in bussiness?

Has anybody out there has any experience with his knives?

Thanks in advance

I do recall that a few years ago there was quite a flap over an advertised knife with Ti liners and bolsters that turned out to be plain 'ol steel , a lot of folks were prety bummed by that.

Tostig

bought a 4 in straight knife in late 70s could flex edge with thumbnail. friends said it was too thin, sent it to buddy in washington, chunks of edge broke out on 1st steelhead. sent it back for regrind and britton said i was too rough on blades, he did regrind & ship back . i do'nt make knives but was using them when he was in diapers.

Well, thnaks to Tostig and DennisStrickland for their posts; it would seem that I'm better NOT having the knives from Mr. Britton. It's a pitty because I really liked the shape of those Krait II knives.
It all started because of a knife (Fury brand), with a nylon scabbard, that I have; It is very similar to the Krait knives and I've been unable to find a store or website to get one (the tip was a bit damaged and I had to file it).
