@Ludwig you didn't actually ask for a refund and return when you mentioned the issues to the knife, you only hinted that you felt you were slighted expecting Bacon to do something about it. That's not good communication, that's asking for your mind to be read and that never turns out well. If you had asked for a partial or full refund right out it would have at least communicated your opinion on the knife, complaining of issues that were visible in the photos and then expecting the other party to offer up penance is not a good way to do business.

@ExtraBaconPlease overall you handled yourself rather well considering the rather vague communications between you and Ludwig, but after this thread has been posted you've been behaving quite childish and it certainly doesn't make you look very good. I don't think a refund is warranted as you weren't selling in the exchange and Ludwig got all the evidence in the pictures that he used later to show you the issues, your wording of the knife's condition were vague but like you said you weren't selling it on the exchange so you answered questions instead of offered up a detailed description. Acting like a bogan isn't making your side look as good as the evidence otherwise would, I'd suggest just staying quiet rather than antagonizing the situation.

What the hell are you trying to do? Are you legitimately trolling a thread just because you can or do you think that off-topic posts in a GBU thread are normal and accepted?

Section 3.10 - "If you troll, antagonize, provoke, or otherwise create a disruptive environment, you will receive warnings and infractions as necessary for you to modify your behavior."

Eire is what the Irish call their country in their native language, but I don't expect you to know that.

I'm 20. Its friday night. I get a notifaction about this thread. Its hilarious. I'm not worried about this bloke sooking. If he has an issue, here's a tissue. He knows to take it up with paypal and still hasnt but has time to sook here. That says it all.

Well, the bolded part explains a little as to why you are carrying on this way... Although, I know many 20 year old's that can carry themselves with some poise and dignity. If I were to have had to guess, I would have thought extrabaconplease was a spoiled 13 y.o. Bladeforums is a lot more than "total strangers on the internet" to many on here.

I agree and ive met MANY cool people here that I consider friends. Take @lozdesign7 for example. Met him here. Been to his place numerous times. Met the family and his 3 new triplets. Great bloke and we are definitely mates. Like i said before, plenty of people here could vouch for me. Maybe not in my current inebriated state. It's not because i'm 20.

Should i go ahead and say it makes sense you are being a grumpy, boring loser because you are x age? No. So don't so it to me.

Are you daft? That was for a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT KNIFE.

The knife in question had NO sale thread as already stated in this thread.
