But then, of course, it was later discovered that the Major General was no orphan at all, and had merely pretended to be to serve his own ends.

You are certainly entitled to express your opinion, and by coming out and being a dick, maybe an adult dick, for the way you said it, not what you said, you can be sure that people will not sell to you for that reason, more than not being a Gold Member.

As to Blackbeard, you're quite right, the black seeming much more fearsome than his (if I remember correctly) natural red curls. I guess he felt that people were unlikely to surrender to the bloodthirsty pirate, Carrot Top.
I think the fact that he was absolutely huge helped also. I don't know that I believe the 6'8" claim I've seen some places, but the concensus seems to be that he was a big boy. The account of his final cornering and killing is rather spectacular. I think a seriously done movie about him would be interesting. It's not like much embellishment would be necessary--he was pretty much born to be a blockbuster.

There are times I have looked at knives and gear posted for sale in the U.S only.I have never taken it personal.Customs can be a pain in the ass ect.The bottom line is you can sell to whoever and however you like.Get over it.

Just received my Anders M.S. from Thomason.One great guy.He also included a zippered knife pouch.Can't do much better than that,IMO.
