Retro thoughts - opinions, please on ergo

Eric, everytime you post a pic of the BK it just kind of breaks my heart a little more.

YES!:D Sent me a note, I'll be putting a run together in a week or so.

Sure, why not! Two's company! :D Send me a note as well.

The sting of the purchase only lasts for a while, the forever is the feeling you get when you pick it up and think, "Yes, this is THE knife for me" :)

EDIT: Two is enough out of this run, but stay tuned for more free leather down the road!
Two's company, but three is a party! Cheesy, but it was worth a shot! Congrats on 8,000!!

The greatest strength in use of the Ba-E is in it's control-ability.

The size and shape of the handle makes that little blade easy to use Safely.

No need to carry a big blade to cut a rib cage or a pelvis.

You want to make a notch for a trigger peg?

You just want a whittler that will not twist or turn in the hand?

Having had most of the Badgers, this one is the most controllable.

Limited hand Strength? your old and your hands shake? that big Slabby handle will return to you control you have not had in a Very long time.

In my 40's I got involved, in my 60's and up, I figure to hand over my Basic #3 and my other Badgers and use one of my Ba-E's.

For what I want it for, no other Busse knife I have held will do the job, except perhaps the Original Game Warden-E and with just two of those finished, I figure mine is probably to valuable to use as long as I have a Ba-E.

All about the control as I age and figure to lose my hand strength.

With all due respect... you can't drop a line like that without offering pictures! It ain't right...

I've never seen that knife. Do us a favor and post a pic! :D

Here's my little Ergo line up. I've gone through many in the past and hope to use a few more in the future. My first Busse was a SHe and it will always be my favorite. :)

Best thing I've ever seen done to a NOe was the butt grind, it really improves the feel of that knife. Amazingly effective.

The SHe and BAe have seen some heavy work from me, the NOe has seen some amazing stuff by the previous owner. All three have been used far beyond what a normal knife should be, and they ask for more. Ask about the car hood and the hardened nut my SHe encountered and shrugged it off. :)

I'm not Andre, but this is the knife to which he is referring (middle one):

I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but I agree with this wholeheartedly. The two best grips in my collection are modified Ergos with rounded-off butts.

I still think Jerry should come out with a Badger/Warden: A BAe-sized blade and correspondingly upscaled Game Warden handle.

I have large hands, I never cared much for the E's, the T's where nice and the Chuckette' is just right....Oh wait, the Chuckette' was custom built from my hand print/size :)

I would love to see the Ba3 come back in INFI 2 Satin. You could sign me up now! Hell, charge my CC now. Consider it a invitation Jerry :)

This SH-E was my first Busse ever. I special ordered it from the shop in 2002. It is still my favorite Busse and I will never sell it.
