I just retrieved from the mailbox less than 30 minutes ago. I’m look cool, I’ll do a quick check and refund his money.

Then I tried to flip it and it didn’t want to flip. It wanted to squeak/squeal though. This knife has never done that in 8 yrs.

Hell if it did that I’m sure that would have been mentioned immediately by Mr. Goldie.

I’ve never heard of this before since I’ve been online. Y’all got any links that show the same issue.

At first I was like. It was 36 degrees outside maybe it will warm up and return to normal as it was prior to sending.

Then I thought, it was cold as Fuk when I sent the knife so my playing devils advocate, initially might not be the reason it is squeaky like it has zero lubrication. I’ve never heard a knife squeak before at 61 frankly. But more importantly he doesn’t want to flip like normal and that’s huge,

I can’t resell a knife that flipped before I sent it but now doesn’t.

What are your thoughts folks.
Asked did he take it apart in the video. Yet, that wouldn’t have made sense imho.

I can tell it’s the same knife. Yet, I have never taken it apart … so I can’t tell if internals changed.
Another devils advocate idea to explain the squeaky dude that doesn’t want to flip.

What would you do if this was a return and this happened???

It flipped fine when i got it then send it back immediately because of its condition; it was very dirty and had black gunk in the pivot area ; this is a ball bearing pivot knife (reate district 9) that was heavily carried never cleaned or opened .The Knife was $237 i said give me back 200 keep the rest for your troubles ;my 200.00 refund is now in question because the knife wont flip open and squeeks and because it was in my posession last when it worked....

Yes but he refuses to open it up cause its my fault its not flipping; also it said in the ad it only cut 3 boxes; i was under the impression the knife was otherwise mint.When i got it it was all scratched up end to end, and there was a ding on the front of the handle on the lock side....
 
Buyer beware. Lots of red flags here. Keep your money close to home.

Seems obvious not only used to cut three boxes. If you decide to mislead about condition of good sbeing sold, don't do it on the Intternet = "Wire Fraud", a federal felony.

Yes, but frankly I’m not searching for them at all. I don’t need to do that because it’s not going to change the reality of the knife in hand at all,

I mentioned it soley because I was thinking of reasons it might occur or if it happened to others on this site = which I trust. Thx btw I say the exact same shit about google is our friend. 💯

So you had the ad reopened, referenced the return, and used Goldie's pictures....but why, Why, WHY, WHY,  WHY didn't you mention that the knife is messed up and doesn't open properly? That makes you look horrible and will ruin your credibility on this site. Nobody in their right mind will buy from you when you BLATANTLY misrepresent the item you're selling...and a lot of people won't sell to you either.
