You carried it for 8 years and only cut 2-3 boxes? That's hard to believe, but fine. Either way, looks like the knife's condition wasn't fully disclosed, with the dent and rust. You're supposed to point all of those things out when selling.

Having carried it for 8 years, have you tried oiling it? More likely that the crud in it is causing issues, instead of some kind of sabotage. Can you make an effort to be more clear with your posts, they are hard to follow, and I'm trying to understand your point of view.

Ok folks heres the truth: DAvid Deng is my neibor he saw this ad and told me to get the knife cause he has defective parts from an early district 9 and he wants to play a joke on the seller by me getting the knife and we install the bad parts and send it back to him so we can have some laughs…..

David Deng as in the David Deng? Sarcasm might not be the best route, hope you get your money back, that knife was grungy. Not really surprised that knocking it around in transport might of dislodged something.

Yeah, I think we all know that rusty used up knife isn’t worth even 200 bucks. A fella would have to work pretty hard to foul up a knife that bad after his purchase.

Goldie by chance did you use any cleaner or wash out the pivot area to remove the “black gunk” you mentioned? If so it would be possible that the cleaner or soapy water might have got into the bearings and rusted them causing the noise. Just a thought.

By relisting it you are saying you think it is worth the price you are selling it for, which is within $10 of what Goldie has asked to be refunded if I understood your latest update. You have acknowledged that there is value in what he returned to you and should refund him accordingly. Else you are just a thief.

What misinformation did I post? You asked for the ad to be hidden and brought back, you came out and said that the knife was returned & you were using the buyer's pictures now, and you started this thread about how the knife doesn't want to flip and squeaks like a banshee...but you didn't see fit to discuss that in the ad.

It sounds like you already spent the money, and you need to sell the knife again to cover the refund (reread your ad if you question that). What happens when the next seller returns it because it doesn't want to flip and squeaks like a banshee? Sell it again to refund him?
