Everyone can relate to your frustration. You will get one of you want one, it just takes time sometimes.

FWIW, it has actually been worse in the past with people claiming multiple knives in a post. So you could “make the top 20,” and still get shut out. Larger lots combined with the 1/per limit is a great improvement IMHO.
