It is that time of year again! We will be returning to the florida keys and the everglades for some nights of snake hunting madness.

But this time:

MORE MACHETES
MORE CAMERAS
MORE COMMADEREE

And a video camera or two.
I’m going to try hard to bushuse the crud out of some bladeware! Wish us luck!

Let's see, red touch black, friend of jack. Red touch yellow, kill a fellow. Ahhh heck with it. They all give me the heebie jeebies! Have fun, and better you than me bro ;D Where I grew up you treated em all as poisonous cause they likely were :D

Have fun and take lots of pics!

Have fun man. That first pic is awesome. Take lots of pics. Anyone ever tell you you aint right in the head Joe?:D

Dude I want to go in the worst way! I have always wanted to do that, I am jealous.

Been a long time since I saw a coral snake. Love the pics, they make me wonder why it is that I'm not spending the winter in the swamp like I used to.

you folks have fun joe and be safe... i don't care much for spiders or snakes...:o

I wish I could go, feild herping in Canada in pretty limited

cool pics, I love those baby corn snakes, is that day geko native to florida or is it another perk of the pet trade,

That corn that is clamped on to the finger would be nice in the rack for a breeder, carmel motley go for about 125 buck around here for that size, breeders for about 200

have fun

AFAIK, there is only one gecko native to Florida, the Florida Reef Gecko. The rest are all considered naturalized/invasive, I believe. Theres a big problem with invasive reptiles and amphibians in florida... perhaps the worst offender being the cuban tree frog. The constrictors make the news but the tree frog likes to devour other species at an incredible rate.

I'm with you there bro, more of a mammal guy myself.... I grew up in Florida and it scarred me for life. The insects/reptiles grow big and mean down there. I'll stay up here in the mtns where the cold winters seem to put some limits on that.

Cool stuff, Joe!
Glad I don't have THOSE in my basement:eek:

That spider.... when I was a kid me and my brother used to have those on our ceiling at night.... They laughed at us and looked at us with those red eyes...

See, told you, scarred for life!

I'm back! No digit loss or nipple severing! Thanks for the kind words everyone!

I am compiling footage and pics and it will take quite a few days to see what I can sift through and post.

These teasers will have to do for now!
