Review : Martindale machetes (several models)

What a blast from the past. I nearly cut my middle finger off with that 14 inch Tramontina. I was so mad about it that I donated it to Cliff to beat the hell out of it. I'm finally starting to get some feeling back in my finger tip.
 
Does that dude work at that store or something? Looks spammy to me.

I don't thing I ever used a martindale, I had a lot of machetes before I was ever "brand savvy", I really like my tramontinas though.
 
I have two Martindale machetes and I have been pleased. I convexed the edge with a belt sander, squared the spine, made a small Scandi section, modified the grip down to the tang of the blade and contoured the grip.
