Richard J is a stand up guy.

Yesterday I sent Richard a note asking about prices and where to send a knife. Last night-yep-same day-we spent about an hour on the phone as he talked me through the basics of convexing!!! I haven't got the knife off yet but I will and after watching some video of one of his knives I am prepared to be amazed again. I am already amazed by his friendliness and willingness to spend his time passing on information about knives and how to make them sharp.
 
I plan to go down again. Also if you go down you gotta go to the Hopkins house awesome Bed and Breakfast.
