Been watching Richard and collecting his work for close to twenty years now.
Each year he just keeps pushing himself without exception.
What a stunning display of a maker who just keeps challenging himself.

Richard,
I am getting caught up on threads here and have to say WOW, that lobster is a nice one. Did you have any misgivings about covering in CF?
The scissors and file look spot on as does the rest of the knife.

Thanks for taking the time to share your work here, it is an inspiration to many, including myself.

Great work Richard! The engraving by Mr George is icing on the cake.

Cannot stare at that engraving too long. It starts moving around! Awesome piece Richard!

Truly a piece of art under every aspect - I guess it goes straight into a museum.
I cannot image someone carrying it

Richard, that is one amazing work of art. Congratulations my friend!:cool:

Any time I want my mind blown by meticulous detail perfectly executed by a master, I just drop into this thread.

Hi Richard, That knife is just what every knife maker dreams of making but only with the attention to detail that you give it.

WOW nice knife!

Thanks to Eliot for kicking this thread off which helped me appreciate Richard's craftsmanship whilst I waited for this one to cross the pond.

I appreciate this Large Trapper has been briefly covered by Richard when he made it. I hope it's ok to post up a couple more pic's.

I'm so impressed with this knife, I don't normally like the Trapper pattern but Richard has made a really nice job of tucking the blades into the frame making a comfortable knife to use.

A faultless working custom by a true craftsman.

Sam

You do some incredible work sir! W:eek:W so many.great knives.

So Sam, you gonna use that bad boy? :D
What steel is in it? Some dimensions? This knife just made me realize the advantage of putting the nicks on opposite sides. Really allows that wharnie to get low on the frame. Well done.
