Richard Rogers: Custom Knives

Whoa, Mama!! You've knocked my socks off again!!
That Bling just won't quit - yet tastefully done! That ain't 100 pounds of gold hanging, that's just fine!!
Just doesn't get any better, Richard. You Da Man!!

I'd love to hear more about the steel test. I've been particularly impressed with M4, and think it would be fantastic to have it as an option for slip joints.

Beautiful work!

That's quite a knife. Looks perfect! I like the way you did the saw the profile looks just like one I own.
Hi guys,

Finally finished another Horseman's knife. CPM154, Ivory, 416 frames, gold shield and tweezer end.

Lots of bling going on inside. Fileworked springs and implement tops, golf ball texturing on the nut-cracker.

Thanks guys.

Ken, on some of the nut-crackers I've seen, they had gripping teeth punched into the hoof pick, much like the teeth on a rasp. I have cut grooves in before, but they show on the edge, and I wanted something a little cleaner. I think the texturing looks good and should provide ample grip.

Absolutely incredible. That really is a work of art, think I'll be looking at it for a few hours to come yet. Superb work sir

I don't know if it's just my impression, but lately I see more and more challenging projects turned into incredible knives by great makers. I just hope it doesn't end soon. This knife is absolutely breathtaking.

Lovely knife, Richard! The screwdriver on the end is very cool to see on a custom knife. I don't remember ever being so interested in a gimlet but I keep on going back to it in the photos. None of those tools look like they are tagging along for the ride. Beautiful work all around.

Wow .. that knife is amazing! What an achievement! Just curious, what is the length and weight of it?

Thanks for all the compliments guys.

No idea of the weight, length is just under 4", including the screwdriver/liner.

Hey Richard, it was nice talking to you the other day. Wow that is a great piece. Someone will be real happy.

Richard,
This is truly special, beautiful craftsmanship, love the pearl and the entire package, wonderful!
I am running out of superlatives, I guess you can tell I like it...
