Thanks Elliott,

I always like these pictures when they show how multi-blades nest together when closed.

Superb folder, Elliott! Love the story, love the knife.

Still appreciate you helping me get my first folder from Richard. He is a true gentleman along with being a true master of his trade.

Thanks very much, Joe...and the pleasure was mine. Look forward to seeing you again next year.

And thanks again to you all for the positive remarks.

That's a beautiful piece! Great blade selection.

Now I've decided(thanks to your great pictures and threads) that I must have a custom sowbelly.

Congrats on that fine piece.

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the kind words. I really appreciate them.

I'm glad it got there okay, especially since the tracking # didn't work, even though Sally says it does. :)

I'm especially glad you like it Elliott, I'd hate to disappoint you. :) Thanks for taking more pictures, I really need to work on good pics.

I'm always happy to share knifemaking info, I don't have any secrets.

Thanks again,

R

Congrats Richard and Elliot on a bee-yoo-tiful white piggy.
Thats the knife of many collector's dreams right there. :)

Outstanding example of the breed.
I like how clean the whole thing looks, sort of understated. That knife doesn't need any lines, flutes, filework etc.. to get it's point across. It comes across loud and clear.
Congrats to you both!

Stu, there is that signature file work of Richard's inside the well, but it's very quiet in the way it dresses up the knife. I totally agree that it works just the way it is.

The amazing thing about this knife is just how solid a package it is in the hand while being so refined to the eye. Richard really did a heck of a job on this one. Even his wife Sally told me yesterday evening that he was "pretty happy" with this one. That's a mouthful for Richard.:cool:

Thanks, guys!

Congratulations on a beautiful piece. I always enjoy seeing Richard and Sally at the West Coast shows, in fact I've had the good fortune of being drawn in his lottery. Regretfully, I'll be on vacation when he does the Plaza Show.

Of course, but I wouldn't feel right letting you know I looked at that. The same way I wouldn't want to know you were putting the old Chicken Eye on my best girls frilly undergarments ;)

A beauty, Elliott! And all you said about Richard and Sally is true - great people!
Nice job Richard!! My only sowbelly is one of yours, and it's so perfect, I don't feel the need for another!:D
