Named his "elf cutlass" by Mr. Barrett, this sword is a laminated construction of different pattern welded billets creating a fantastic visual effect. I believe the steels are 15n20 and 5160. The fittings are cast bronze, and the grip is hand carved zircote.
The blade measures 22.5 inches and the hilt measures 11.75 inches. The ratio is similar to some "Elven glaives" that Rick has made, but this one has a longer blade and shorter handle that those do.
