Rick Hinderer Knives Picture Thread

Rick sharpens the knives so quickly and easily, there is no heat to speak of. Then he uses a buffing wheel to take off the burr, what you are seeing/talking about is from the buffing wheel.

Yeah, I love how the look of the SW blades progress towards the edge. Part of why I love my Hinderers is the uniqueness and story behind each one.

New Wharnie came into today and I swapped out some scales, standoffs and screws...the spanto is like an Eddie Bauer Edition with the green and brown!

Cool bro! Welcome aboard!! First XM, first post... My first one was an OD green spanto too!! Great start :D

You'll be dressing it up in no time

CDF and N2K love the outdoor pictures! That smooth Ti looks great on the Warnie, I bet it gives it a total different feel.

N2K, how are you liking your FDE DLC Slicer? Sure looks awesome in pictures, the blue standoffs give it that extra "coolness"

Thanks, kwazyJ.

As for liking it, Final.....I really LIKE it!!!

But---only been in my pocket since 1 Jan 14. Most marks and such on it will likely wipe right off, And if you guys haven't figured out by now that I'm not slowed down by a mark here/there...well now I typed it.

This one is super sharp...Rick did outstanding work on this edge. So much so, that if the coating is causing any resistance in cutting, I cannot tell...it's indiscernible at this point.

I have noticed that the coating indeed has a thickness to it. Miniscule, but hardware fits tighter and even my clip is a tad snug. I'll be fixing that in a bit, only slows down putting the knife back into/onto my pocket.

Bottom line, I really hope it's not my last FDE DLC Hinderer and hope it gets company ASAP.

Photo thread...pocket pulled..
