Exactly, and I like the way it feels. My post's purpose was to hint at my luck this afternoon. Pretty sweet show, and happy to be a part of Rick's 25th consecutive show.

I believe the reason it looks different or more noticeable on the Eklipse is due to the lack of gimping compared to your XM which has that same recessed machining in addition to the gimping.

I am so jealous! As it stands it is near impossible to get any Hinderer knife (in South Africa) ... and now the just-released Eklipse is already finding homes in the States. Guys, you are truly blessed. Enjoy them!

I would say my favorite is between the 3" Wharncliffe and the XM-24. The Eklipse is what's in my pocket at the moment. What a great knife. I have a Crusader clip hiding in the house somewhere for the XM-24. Katy's gonna make me wait till father's day for that one. :)

And this was a really nice touch from Hinderer for the show, just a simple little titanium ano pivot but really sets the knife off IMO

I couldn't beleive how different the Eklipse handled, it was very nice.

And the Hellfires for Friday's lottery, simply amazing. Some VERY nice customs this year. Those 3" Warhnies were awesome
 
David - I got to say I think that 3" Wharny in Bronze might just be my new grail. Added to signature. :thumbup:

M67 that TDI is sweet!!! Miss mine! Great score on the wharnie. What a nasty little blade! Feels like you are carrying around a folding razor...
 
Great shots of the Eklipse David! I notice scale screws on both sides, are the standoffs threaded?

I took mine apart, and man....it is so difficult to align that blade and get it set just right! Having screws on each side, I can see there being multiple ways and steps to assemble it correctly to get the blade centered.
