Rick Hinderer Knives Picture Thread

Yeah I was thinking hot glue ought to do the trick haha. I'll add screws.

I currently own a XM-24 spanto. In another thread someone asked people to come up with their fantasy hinderer knife. Here is my dream. Its probably not up to par with the CADD designers at Hinderer knives but I had fun with it.

NICE WORK! Love the blade shape!!!

the story behind this badass black beauty is this...
snagged it from another brother who bought it from a retailer (not sure I can name names, lets just say they have an acronym in their name) they had it sent out to DLC'd PVD'd whatever
and they say they'll stand behind warranty
other than that
all I know is this
I friggin love this knife! and you can count on much better pictures in the future
thank you for your kind words fella's

It's an "unofficial" DLC, but it's "murdered out" and is visually appealing.

Nice that they will stand behind it, because once altered, well...

Let us know how that finish holds up over time.

Steve V and I got together this weekend and I took a few pics.

I was outside at a restaurant so please forgive the makeshift background. The proto and recurve are Steve's. The spanto and Flashpoint are mine. They enjoyed spending time together as much as my family enjoyed spending time with Steve and his wife. A great time was had by all.

Couple of observations:

The prototype feels enormous in hand. It feels a lot bigger than it really is. And I like that. It fills the hand and gives confidence that its not going anywhere. Yet its not much larger than a 3.5 XM-18.

The recurve is my favorite grind right now. There is literally nothing that I don't like about that grind (except maybe sharpening it).

Heres some pics of my XM-24. I put on a camo scale, .40 cal lock bar stabilizer, bronze skull filler tab, bronze anodized standoffs, and bronze anodized clip. I just had Rick sharpen it and shes shaving sharp! This is my favorite knife hands down
