Rick Hinderer Knives Picture Thread

Tied my first lanyard on a Hinderer. I have resisted for years for some reason, even though on some knives (ie Spyderco ParaMilitary) I must have a lanyard. By pure coincidence the cord colour matches the FDE pen:D

Which Investigator is that?

It's the new PVD coated series they've recently put out. My first aluminum variant, shocked how light it feels compared to brass and copper ones!

Thanks guys. Looks a little different in that pic than on the wedsites. Been tossing around which one to get and now that seals it. Hopefully BladeHQ gets some in soon. Got quite a bit of store credit there.

I have an Investigator of some form + a Fisher "military" clickey pen i've had for many years in my shirt pocket all day at work, yet for some reason i have a reputation as a pen thief...yeah right! plastic disposable pens ain't for me!

I've got one in FDE and even though listed as S/S from the vendor I believe it to be aluminum given the extremely light weight of it. There's no horsey on the cap...it's just FDE sweetness all over aside from the more shiny bits and o-ring(s) (if/when installed.)

I do have another that is certainly Stainless FDE inbound too.

That combo looks great!

Wow, sick knife! Kudos to the RHK crew and congrats to the finisher :)

Major congrats to the finisher...I'm out of breath from reading that handle scale. Holy crap! That's surely something to be proud of, and how else could you possibly show that off better than throwing it on a wharnie...awesome. very cool of you Rob.

Thanks for the kind words! This is the only Wharncliffe XM-18 I own. I am torn to let it go. I'm just glad the knife turn out real nice with the added laser etch scale and copper stand offs.

Cheers!

^^^ Very cool pic! Although, when I saw that you had posted I was hoping to see more pics of that new Aggressor.....
