I think it is interesting to learn more about knifemakers i am not familiar with. He seems very vocal on a lot of subjects, especially in several recent threads i have been following.

Has anyone had personal experiences using his knives- or noted prices, are they generally affordable/available?

I use all of mine. Great edge holding, sharpens up easily, fit and finish is excellent and very comfortable handles. Well thought out blades from tip to tail.

Rick makes awesome bushcrafter blades. He has a lifetime guarantee (his life, not yours) and is always willing to sharpen/clean-up one of his blades at no cost. He recently refurb'ed my S-Curve, putting a new and more aggressive convex grind on it at no charge. It was sharp before but now its killa!
