Rick Menefee Knives...

I know,and,Rob,that's a 3 blader (and a shadow:thumbup: :D) & I know,too

But I really would rather these Gents speak up,themselves
I'll give you a clue, they are both Good Fella's here

You're right, it's a three-blader, I wasn't looking close enough.

I really want to know who is getting the Eureka Jack and also what the other two blade is in the back.

I must admit, I am on the most gracious receiving end of the fantastic Eureka Jack. The Man has certainly outdone himself hasn't he?
I'll post a slew of pics when I get it. :)

But I don't want to divert attention away from that sweet saddlehorn. It needs its time to bask in the sunshine.

Congrats Corey! I can't wait to see the pictures of that.

I was really thinking about getting some of that fantastic mammoth ivory that Rick has on my saddlehorn, I kept going back and forth until I finally decided on the blackwood.

Some awesome knives guys! I love that G10 Zulu!

Thanks for the nice comments

Hey Rick,if no one speaks up & claims that 3 blader ,you can add it with my next couple'o' knives :D

Getting ready to cut a shield out of .100 ss. Rick made this machine out of three milling machines just for shield inlay.

Is that a copy mill setup of some sort? I've used all manner of copy lathes but never seen a mill that does that! VERY NICE! :)

Well, my wife just called to tell me that the saddlehorn arrived and looks wonderful. :D

Then she told me that I could see it on Christmas morning. :(

So, I guess I'll make a report next week.

Well, she let me see it for about five minutes last night, then it disappeared again.

So, are you going back to Vegas next month to see Taco Boy?

(I couldn't find a video for "The Incredible Shrinking Pair" but this will do.);)

Rick,

I always enjoy seeing pictures of your work and its a special treat to see pictures of your shop and progress pictures! I also would like to see more of your shield producing and inlaying mill if you ever get a chance.

Have a Merry Christmas,

Ken

I had been neglecting my Menefee Zulu until I read through this thread again. It definitely is in need of some serious pocket time.

Maybe one of these days I can get another Menefee to keep it company.

Cue the angelic chorus, it has arrived...
I'm so pleased and privileged to have received this knife. I've run out of words to describe it. To quote Rick, "It is the best two blade i have ever made. I hate to ship it. I don't like most of my knifes this one however is in a different level. Its not perfect but pretty damn good for what it is."
Rick's hard work and periodic frustrations with this one really boiled down to a masterful job in the end. Both blades flush in all three positions. You cannnot see any light between the liners. Blades are centered and the extended pen frame is a touch of pure class. Channels are clean and polished. I wish I could capture the swedges adequately, the pen blade has both cut and drawn swedges. The ivory has warm tones of tan, light and dark brown, grey, blue and green.
Enjoy friends.
