Rick Menefee Knives...

That mini Zulu is one fine looking little knife. That's gotta make your pocket smile. :)

Roland...

I'm with Vince on this one....beautiful bone, gives you that old time feel

Thanks for your encouraging replies but really all the accolades must go to Rick. He really puts his heart into every knife he makes. That's why we love both Rick and his knives.

Just received this one today from the big man. Its Rick's rendition of a Schrade Serpentine Trapper, 3 7/8" closed in green micarta. As always, its real sharp and clean. I love the curves on this one. Thanks Rick!

Nick, was the Schrade you mention a 194OT ? or an older Walden or Cut. Co. ? Schrade, my first BF obsession.
Lovely knife man. I hope you're using it ! I'm up to using pants with 6 pockets so no Menefee child gets lonely at home and i can't have 2 bumping around together.

I've been meaning to post this one. A zulu in natural micarta. Carries great in the pocket (slim), sharp. It's even been through the wash once.

Ben, I like a clean knife too, but i think the washing machine method is more than is needed.
Good thing it has Micarta handles ! Lovely pattern Rick makes with these Zulus. I'm very pleased i've got one too just as you obviously are.

Roland, maybe Rick might chime in with the info. I like that natural micarta Ben. Thanks for all the kind words guys. Kudos to Rick.

The frame on this was from a walden 292. Its maybe .040 wider than the 292 just because i liked it that way. The blade is just what i happened to come up with. I will call it a modified schrade slimline. I love these types of frames. Brett dowell and Kerry posted some they had built and it got me thinking about these style of knives.

Both of these knives are zeros. The first one is 3 7/8 Cattaraugus Jack. African Blackwood, going to a new home Monday that stays sunny all the time.

Second one 4" Cattaraugus Yukon skinner. Blackwood scales. Going to one of the hottest and most humid places I have ever been around June 10-12th.
