Just got this swayback in black jigged bone from a forum buddy and I love it. Thanks to you know who you are:). And of course, thanks Rick! Sorry for the crappy pics that don't do this knife justice.

Wagglebee If you make it to Rick's table in time you will be very happy how the jigged ivory came out. I went by Rick's on the way home and got to coon finger several of these pictured and this is undoubtedly the best set of knives that Rick has made to date. I personelly love the sway back with buckeye burl. The city knife with CF was from a piece I gave him to play with AND HE CERTAINLY MADE GOOD USE OF IT. Anyone will be happy with any he brings. Looking up!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, I've had a bunch of stuff come up and there is no way I will be able to make it to Blade. I'll have to make do with the pictures and then figure out what I want when my name comes up on Rick's list.

Very nice! It's amazing how Rick duplicated that etch so exactly!

I was wondering who would be the first to comment on the etch.Very creative  Rick,,I think it really adds a touch of perfection to this knife

Oh boy is that nice! Congratulations! That etch is awesome!

Now this one is a very exceptional piece of work. They don't get much better than this. IMHO.

I'd be interested in knowing how Rick got the exact font for the lasermarking on the blade? It's spot on to the original.

The hunters pride is pretty cool! I also would be interested in the who, what, where on the etch.

Either way, some great knives in this thread:thumbup:

I don't know how Rick did it, but there are laser etchers that can copy anything (a photocopy, a photograph, whatever) onto a surface.

I saw this Rick Menefee modified wharncliffe shadow trapper for sale on another forum website and I jumped on it! Similar specs to others like it, 154CM with milled liners, SS pin, half stops, olive green canvas micarta and 3 3/4" closed.

^Thats a great find right there, congrats:thumbup:

Exact knife, and even the green canvas micarta is what I hope to be my next knife...well as soon as I can get one at least. I'm going with a shield is the only differance.
