Rick Menefee Knives...

Good morning all. I'd like to take a moment to show some pictures of a super knife I received today. It's been in the works a while now. Rick has made a bunch like these, but since he got into slipjoints, not many lately. He has not lost the feel for it. When I first started buying knives from Rick & posting pictures of them here,I made a comment about how you can feel in his knives,he's a knifemaker through & through. With a wide array of styles,I've never had a one that did not feel great in the hand. He's a super talented knifemaker, paid his dues, too. This is a 154CM ss blade
But this knife may take all of 'em down.

Campbell, this post should bust up your boredom ;)

Larry Parsons,as usual, made the sheath & this man is a great saddlemaker & leather craftsman

Just check it out,Enjoy !
-Vince :)

That looks incredible Vince! How long is it?

Rob,It is 11-1/8" OA length
The blade is 6-3/8" tip to ss guard, with a 6" cutting edge. It is 3/16" stock thickness at the spine.

Another Menefee Made beauty; thanks for showing us Vince. That long slender blade should be perfect for boning.

Very nice score Vince. Reminds me of another knife you had from a different custom maker a while back.

Mike, that was a Paul LeBatard Good memory

Thanks for the comments.

Looks great Vince! He really does a great job on those
fixed blades... I agree he hasn't lost the feel! There's
a lot that goes into those hidden tangs.... Not the easiest,
that's for sure! Congrats buddy!

Now that my latest Menefee Made acquisition has arrived, I thought it appropriate to snap a family portrait.

Please excuse the fingerprints/smudges on the Dogleg. It has been seeing some serious pocket time since Saturday. It might take some time to ease it into the pocket, but I have no doubt the Northfield half whittler will make it there eventually. I'm very excited to say the least.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I'm very lucky and thankful to have been in the position to acquire these fine beauties. I think it goes without saying that Rick is an incredible craftsman. And yes, the half whittler is awesome!
