So....that 1-3" that might hit us overnight is now over 12" of snow. Methinks they got this one wrong.

you get no sympathy here - they promised me a foot of snow monday night and we got less than 2" -- the temp never dropped below 34 until middle of the night on Tuesday.

Me First and the Gimmee Gimmees is actually a band made up of guys from a few well known punk bands who got together just to do covers--each of their albums is dedicated to a certain genre (showtunes, r&B, country and pop)--They are from the bands NoFx, Foo Fighters, Lagwagon and the Swinging Utters----I use to listen to punk alot when I was younger and into skateboarding--I still listen once in a while---too damn old to skate anymore......hurts too much

didn't realize where they all came from, but I'm familiar with their work -- you gotta admit, Johnny's Bar Mitzva is NOT good music for the most part. (although I love their rip on Hava Nagila). As to punk, I grew up on the Ramones, Patty Smythe, and the Dead Milkmen among others....

And Richard Cheese is a hoot. (cue the dog)

Noticed that myself. His arm and hand are extending straight out. The arm should be raised, and the hand bent at the wrist. I also noticed right off he didn't have his thumb up either. Freakin' newb.

Going back to Wrightwood tomorrow with a buddy and his girlfriend to hike the Old Mine trail and hopefully make it to the mine this time. Prepped the BK-7 as my pack knife, got it sharpened, oiled up, and ready for action. We're going to cook up some Spam and Ramen noodles for lunch, hopefully there's still some snow left. I'll have pics tomorrow. The best part will be that my lady is spending all day cooking up chili and cornbread for us to have with some friends when we get back. I'll have to bring the beer myself I assume...
