Got off the phone with Jason Knight a few minutes ago, he's invited me to drive over to his shop and watch him work sometime next week, so pumped!!

Haha watching Duck Dynasty on my DVR, new season started last night.

Oh yea, i watched both the new ones last night. great show.

Been after one of these for five and a half years now. Finally got one on Tuesday. Just ordered two more.

what exactly is that contraption??

That, good sir, is a Guyot Gription. Made back in the day by the same people that make all those awesome stainless steel water bottles we all love, this thing fits any normal wide mouth bottle and adds a handle with a spill proof drinking port. Basically when you push the orange bit down, it opens the lid enough to drink from. It is spring loaded so when you release it, it seals right back up. One of my biggest pet peeves was having to constantly remove the lid from my nalgene to take a drink, worry about knocking the lid off the table or dropping it, or spilling the contents of my nalgene. I drink out of one every day, so as you can imagine I have had plenty of opportunities to test this theory, and I have at least two different keyboards that learned the hard way that an uncovered nalgene bottle spells certain doom for anything on my desk.

Fun fact: If you type the letters ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ into a Facebook status it will disappear within seconds. It's like magic! Or something.
In other news: Murph's a tool.

Jason Knight is a local knifemaker here and the only master bladesmith in SC. Hes actually one of only a hundred or so world wide i believe. I spoke with him on the phone and he was kind enough to invite me to his shop next week! Im pumped!
