So...hammock guys, I'm going to finally get a decent tarp. Should I go with BCUSA 12x10 or 10x10 for over a Skeeter Beater Pro hammock?
 
I have a 12x10 tarp and its great for bad weather but I may pick up a smaller one just to pack a little better.
 
I'm leaning toward the 10x10, because I plan a couple of hikes with it, beside just campsite camping.
 
I had a 10x10 made for me by Cooke Custom Sewing years ago and paid nearly fifty bucks for it :eek:. Damn, what a tarp that thing has been. They are a little higher than that now, but incredible tarps.
 
I got the coyote one for $60, my buddy and I bought the last two. Derek tells me the 10x10 is the perfect medium. I plan to use it with the hammock as well as a stand alone.

Mayonaise, mustard, 2 slices of Gouda, 1 slice of roast beef, 2 slices of ham, and 3 slices of "turkey" on white bread.
 
got a question, so I just got my camillus bk 10 and noticed that the handles are a lot wider than the handles I have on most of my bk's, only other handle I have that are wide are the ones on my bk5. so are there two sets of black handles?

That looks pretty good. Now put it all on some real bread that doesn't stick to the roof of your mouth like mortar.

And add some hot peppers. :D

I'd've preferred it on real bread, but this was all I could find. :( Hot peppers? Now there's an idea!

it would be a great deer-whacker for New England, but I'd rather have it in a double-barreled rifle for funsies.
No need (for me) for a high-cap self-loader needing lots of cleaning when going after deer. Bagging just one is three days of work.

Camillus era grivory is thicker and more hand filling than current Kabar era grivory. On the Limited Edition BK10 they used media blasted Camillus grivory scales as well.
 
Did anybody else know this? The wife and I just got home from supper not long ago. Turned on the TV and started wacthing Hannibal. The second installment in the seilence of the lambs movie. During agent starlings interview with Hannibals orderely from the asylum (the only one the Hannibal allowed to live.) Agent Starling tells him that a copy of Ethans book, "The Joy of cooking" with Hannibals autograph sold for 16,000 bucks. I've probably seen this movie 5 times and never picked up on it. Pretty cool I thought. Has anybody else noticed it?
 
Looonnnng week here. Got home last night after being away from home since Sunday. I ended up running the route that my boss does and the one I normally do and never had time between them to actually go home. Luckily I have a good gf and she was nice enough to bring a change of clothes and some supper everyday. Gonna have to get her something nice for that. Anyways, my boss's wife ended up back in the hospital Saturday and passed away Wednesday. He managed to get someone to cover his route now and he decided to give me a couple nights off. Not sure what I'll be working after today, so I might go missing for a bit again.

Came home to some boxes I ordered last week and the week before. Got a scopecoat, lens covers, brass catcher, chip mccormick powermags, and a few 17 round mags for my CZ. Should have a bk24 and some tweener micarta tomorrow too.
