Just seen a leatherman pirahna for the first time, looks pretty neat as a keychain tool.
 
Been busy busy busy. My little boy is due to arrive next Thursday, can't wait! Seems like yesterday he was merely a twinkle in my eye ;)
 
I didnt know esee had OD green knives out, kind of wish they didnt now, OD green Izula and matching OD green Candiru on the way. 100 bucks gone because i like the color and thought the catfish was cool.

Well they will look nice in the collection anyway.
 
I have the OD Esee 3. I really like the blade, but am thinking about getting black handles to replace the bright orange.

That ain't a catfish. It is a candiru. Dickfish might be another apt name, they are the critters that swim up your pee hole if you go in the waters they live in.

Are you talking about the standard black micarta that comes with the other ESEEs or black G-10? No offence but the greyish color of the micarta might look a bit weird against an OD green blade.

Well if you can dye the plastic becker zytel you should be able to dye G-10...

Not to my knowledge. Wouldn't make sense if you did. They make that stuff in every color you can imagine for not much more than you'd spend on dye.

On another note: I've found out that handle material is about to break the bank for me trying to make so many pieces for the blade show. I went out to my Dads house yesterday to raid his toolbox and see what he had, while I was there he took out a couple of old cast iron skillets he picked up at a yardsale for 2 bucks. Said he knew I liked old stuff thought I may wanna do some backyard campfire cookin with them. Hell yeah! Score! They don't have any names on them that I can find but they will work great for that.

Love the old cast iron skillets. My mom used to cook with them all the time.
 
Ugggghhh cheap whiskey and a mild concussion are not a good combo...On the bright side I had the motivation to clean and oil all my knives :)

I use a BCUSA 10x10 over my Warbonnet, I can set it up corner to corner or a frame style and it covers my hammock perfect. I would think that the 12x10 would be too big. I posted pics of my hammock a little bit ago with the two tarp setups. not sure if you saw them or not.
