Ridiculous budget blade-4 dollar Ozark Trails folders, good blade-pic heavy

I just looked at the liner locks and noticed a lot of them, were not locked at all and some were all the way over. They were also very thin. That and people that posted here saying, you can't even turn the pivot screw without it breaking. The liner seems harder than the blade steel, lead me to believe they're a waste of money. Sorry, you don't like my opinion Bobby. That's just how it goes. If I'd have looked and determined they were worth the 4 bucks I'd have gladly walked out with one. As it is I didn't see the value.
I've adjusted the pivot screw with out issue, I already said that the one thing they need to work on is quality control. Probably 5 out of 50 have bad locks.

Again you did not buy one you only used the words if others here you wanted to hate these the first time you read 4$ knife Or the word Walmart. Alot of the people here think they are a good beater knife guess what they bought one. You are the advocate of the club of the 4$ knife haters society and guess what you haven't bought one. But you know everything about them because it was posted here. God forbid you use yelp to help decide a place to eat you would starve I mean there is Alot of negative reviews on restaurants out there.

Well all I can say is good on you if you found value happiness, in the hallowed aisles, of your local wallyworld.

I think we did and they were filled with shoppers spending their American dollars on Chinese goods supporting a American economy. thanks for your well wishes on our find and value spent at Walmart. Just for the record you don't like these knives right ?

People might actually hold value to what you say if you actually had handled one, but the fact is you haven't and merely base your conclusion off option. It's one thing to express ones option, but it's another to go off on a tangent dismissing people's actual experience telling em they're wrong and your opinion is right.

Na, Bobby I've handled enough knives and owned hundreds and still own hundreds, to know what I'll spend on by looking at them.

Don't like ours too bad works both ways. So agian tell us how you don't like these knives and Walmart I think we missed it.

OMG YOU SHOULD'VE SAID THAT FROM THE START!!!! You've handled and owned hundreds of knives? So that means you must obviously know what your taking about...now we can all rest easy and soak in the knowledge of the great one whom has handled and owned hundreds of knives.

Well its been fun Jill but you are getting stale. You have the great honor to become the first person I felt deserved to be put on my ignore list. Good luck Bobby it's like talking to a brick wall that's always right feel bad for her husband.

Based on Jill's overwhelmingly positive feedback, I've made the decision to revamp these knives just in time for the holiday season.

Introducing the Bear GRILLZ Ozark Trail folding knife. Whether you plan on using it for shaving human hairs or more labor intensive tasks such as practicing cutting paper, this is the knife for you! We heard you liked micarta, so say hello to 4000 year old Egyptian mummy linen micarta scales, inlaid with blood diamonds! The 3.500896" blade is crafted from a single four ton block of S600Z steel, hardened to HRC 60, then melted, hardened to HRC 60 again, melted again, and finally hardened to HRC 60 again using our proprietary Whirlpool convection oven heat treat technology™. The blade is then dipped in a vat of champagne recovered from a 400 year old French shipwreck before being plated in solid platinum. Available at your local Walmart for $3.87. Functioning liner lock not included, sold separately for $700.

Does this mean we are no longer friends? If so I think it surely will be more than I can bear.

I'm torn here, do I get this one or the one that's already on the market just like it, it does cost $3 more bc of the virgin sacrifice each knife gets before delivery. What a hard decision.

I know ask Jill she's a expert you know having owned 100 knives and all.

Hahaha. But don't forget to label it an "LE".

I like reading about people's experiences with such an inexpensive folder. I hope somebody will open a replacement thread when this one is shut down over trolling.

By "LE" you mean laser edge, right? Because it has a laser on the edge.

This goofy thread made me stop into my local wally world and buy one.

I was expecting to find the knife was total garbage, but outside of a messed up tip that I quickly corrected it's a surprising amount of knife for $4.

Of course, if I wanted to buy an 8Cr13MoV Chinese knife from wally world I'd still rather spend another twenty bucks and get a Kershaw Amplitude 3.25, but I have to admit how surprised I was at the $4 knife's quality relative to its price.
