Ridiculous purchase you just had to have

A completely silly purchase, I have no need for it, I just though it looked cool and it was dirt cheap. When I get tired of plying with it I'm sure it will end up in a box of crap in the garage.

My stereo and 2 speakers cost over 3k.. still need stands for the speakers, maybe I'll get bar stools.

This tops MTP wasn't particularly expensive, but the common consensus seems to be that they're overpriced at $80.
I just thought it was cool and I do like to carry it, but it's definitely not my best cutting knife.

Here's another.
The maratac chickpea wasn't expensive, I just wanted it because it's such a bright little light and I thought it was cool.
Absolutely not a bad purchase at all, simply an impulsive one that I didn't need and had to find a purpose for.

The mass drop brass AAA that I EDC with it's nitchia LED only has 80 lumens, so I wear this around my neck for the odd occasion that I need more light.
I have two tops knives and have had improve the edge on both. just a little aprehensive about pulling the trigger on it. I tend to favor smaller fixed blades but wonder if you think its too small

I thought this was cool but didn't think too much about practicality when I ordered it.

No it wasn't expensive but it was a ridiculous purchase because you can get much much more machete than this for $50+ shipping, and it's kind of useless.
The 9" blade is too short for typical machete work, and it's not thick/ heavy enough for chopping type work.
it definitely looks like it could skin grizz

I love small knives and often carry stuff many people would say is uselessly small , so I don't think it is but most people probably would.
In everyday life this blade will open packages cut string and any other random minor tasks and that's good enough for me.

My mother had a book keeping business before the days of pocket calculators, when a mechanical adding machines weighed 20-30 pounds and cost big bucks. She kept the books for about a dozen small businesses, going to each one a couple of times a month to keep their accounting books up to date. Her customers did not own adding machines, and she was not about to go lugging one with her. So she used an abacus. Something brought that to mind the other day and I decided I would like to learn to use one. Soooo... a ridiculous purchase will be delivered to me soon.

I don't think staying warm is ridiculous.

I prefer wool myself, but I don't have to worry about snow.
