Rifles --------> --> --> -->

Nice rifle farmboy. Im looking into getting a similar 308 setup soon. Leaning towards the savage hog hunter or the 10P. But i also like the MVP because it takes M14 mags

The Hog Hunter is an excellent rifle, especially for the cost.

This guy is .338 Win Mag.

Mossberg M44US military trainer. Pick a few of these as soon as the CMP opened sales. Delivered to my front door for 75 bucks. One ofd the best deals the CMP ever had.

Rock Island M1903 from 1920. I was on the CMP M1903 waitlist but unselected so when a new batch of M1903s opened up, CMP gave those of us on the waitlist first pick. CMP sold it to me delivered to my front door for $400 around 2002 or so.

Leghog, those old Mossberg are great shooting little guns! If you haven't, double check the crown and I've seen a fair number of those with some minor dings and it throws accuracy off.

I own many rifles. Newest is 48 years old. Crowns are good and not a one has been recrowned.

That stock is awesome!! I really do want a hog hunter, I value the iron sights!

Added some goodies to my AR today

Primary Arms Advanced Micro Dot and their Gen II weapon light

Was debating getting a flip up rear sight, and I still may, however when looking through the RDS on its 1/3rd mount the rear sight I have practically disappears... so I'm not sure what I'll do yet.

Thanks! It's a B&C Medalist intended for a stagger-feed rifle, so I've had to do a bit of milling (it has an aluminum bedding block) and fitting. It's still not perfect, as there's some fore-aft movement, so I'm going to just glass bed it. But the stock itself is excellent at soaking up the recoil, and stiffening up the whole thing. Makes a fun irons-only thumper in the meantime, though.

And I've also used DD rear sights with lower 1/3 mounts for some time now, I think you'll like it the more time you spend behind it. When I swapped one of mine to a flip-up, I found that I apparently use the DD as a sort of an visual index point to find the dot. I kept sticking my face too low without it there. You could easily train that out, but since the DD works, I didn't bother. Rifle looks good!

I'm always thankful that I'm principally opposed to the NFA. Otherwise, I'd be out a hilarious amount of money to suppress and SBR everything I own.

I'll settle for looking at others' eye candy like that Krink.

I 100% agree that NFA regulations and registration is unconstitutional and complete BS, however, I'd rather have what I want than not have it. They may have record of my ownership and they have my $200, but I'm the one with the weapons. The benefits of possession outweigh the negatives, but we really need to work to overturn the NFA as well as unconstitutional firearm laws across the country.

No judgement on my end!

And I agree completely, overturning unconstitutional laws should be the big focus. The Hearing Protection Act is a great example of the sort of thing that we need to be pushing, which is, small adjustments over time.
