CMFTW knives should be present in Blade Runner 3 and Mad Max 5. But with solid antiqued vintage leather sheaths. And in case of BR3 with some Russian words engraved on them.

Lol at the blyad on the side of the knife.

T. Erdelyi T. Erdelyi Wow just yesterday I was saying how I had never seen a Beretta Avenger I only the Avenger II. I see the screws are different from the II on yours, does that mean it is a 1?

How has the lock worn? When I see pictures of the lockup it looks like there is not alot of room for the lockbar to travel. Is the lockbar steel? (Sorry for all the questions, I am trying to determine if it is worth getting one)

I see on WT’s custom stuff the steel portion kind of forms an L shape when viewed from this angle with the bottom of the L spanning the whole width of the lockface.

Yep mine's a first gen, even came in a nice aluminum box with the Allen key.

It's worn very little and I used this as a work knife for about 2 years straight with little to no ill effect. Sharpening is a pain, because to keep that single bevel when you sharpen you have to remove carbon fiber with the vg-10. Oh, 1 other thing, the vg-10 is very chippy. Because of this I relegated it to backup status, so I don't worry about sharpening since it doesn't cut anything. I know it's hair whittling sharp and because of the chisel grind I know the blade will perform when needed.

I never held or used a 2nd gen one but I heard they were made just as well as the gen ones. I'll get back to you on the lockback question later, I have to pull it from the knife case and look. Hope I was able to help.

Thanks, it is a great help!

Honestly they seem to have become very rare to find on the secondary market. Warren Thomas has that Sinraptor out but I don’t love the looks of it.

I wonder if all his blades are like that where sharpening the edge means you have to sharoen the CF as well. Also I think most of his stuff is titanium blades anyway.

Oh well, if I see one for a good price I might snap it up. I am fairly ambidextrous so I like my chisel ground knives either side.

Lapedog Lapedog , here's some more shots of the gen 1. Took it out for a few pics and of course I had to slip it into my pocket, now to see what I can slice. BTW don't misunderstand the use of this knife. It's not a utility blade or an EDC that opens mail, takes down boxes and the like. Not to say it can't but those are boring jobs for a knife like this. This puppy was meant to slice through soft organic matter.

I'll use it for mundane chores today, the most exiting thing it's gonna do is cut my sandwich in half. This knife is a weapon plain and simple, even the name congers up images of violence, "The Avenger" . Today I carry for nostalgia and because it's a great knife. So light so big and so much fun to play with. This is one of those knives that inspires knife people and terrorizes the common street folks.

Anyway here's some more pics, thanks for makin' me drag it out, found my misplaced Benchmark Rolox Viper and have been havin' a blast playin' with my first line of defense before I got my CCW permit nearly 30 years ago. It did fall into backup territory after I started carryin' the 9mm Taurus PT111.

Sweet knife! There aren’t many gun company branded knives that really catch my interest. (Most are crap) but this one always has. The Avenger II seems to be mostly the same except the screws. I would be interested to find out what the differences are. It is a beautiful knife.

Thanks for the pics! I assume any knife that has carbon fibre either as the whole or part of the blade is not a “hard user”. Thus I guess you get it sharp once and hopefully you don’t have to slice too many people open.

Thanks again! I have always been interested in this knife and wondered why there has never been another production knife way to try the Warren Thomas composite blades.

Schwartz Tactical is doing cf and ti composite blades, unlike most WT stuff they have a Ti blade sandwitched between two layers of CF. Part of what made the Avenger appeal to me was that the blade was vg10 rather than Ti.
