RIP Charlie Mike

Someone should inform his family, if possible, of this thread and direct them to it so they can share in the love we all had for him. I think they may enjoy reading the stories and seeing how truly respected he was amongst his knife brothers.
I agree, After my brother passed from cancer his friends from a sports board he frequented sent me some links and a membership so I could read his posts and comments and see how he interacted with others and that brought me a lot of happiness and helped me in my grieving process. It would be a nice heartfelt gesture and appreciated i'm sure

Wow......this is really bad news. He was a cool/respected forum contributor: lots of funny/memorable posts, and unique videos. I respect the way he represented combat Vets. He wasn't afraid to publicly air his personal struggles. I'm sure many individuals were comforted, knowing that they were not struggling alone. I didn't personally know Charlie Mike, but this feels a little like losing a friend. RIP.

I met Matt about a year ago when I was in Fresno for training. He welcomed me into his house and was absolutely enthusiastic about knives. I brought him a knife he made for me a year prior and he was proud to see his work. I'm definitely keeping my knife for the rest of my life.

Heres to Matt. Godspeed brother

I'm shocked, awful news. I was just watching his videos and trying learn from his advanced fixed blade carry. Great
sense of humor, he will be missed.

This really hurts. Have two fixed blades and two modded folders of his. I don’t know how I could have a relationship like that with another maker. Met him being annoying on ig when I was on probation and getting clean. Him being alive and finding meaning always gave me hope. You can bet I’ll be armed, alert, and ALIVE till I can finally give the fucker a hug on the other side.

This is terrible news. I can’t believe it. CM was one of those rare few who was just genuine...a one of a kind good dude. I always enjoyed his posts and his YouTube videos. I’ve even mentioned him to my family recently when we watched Watership Down (he had the tat and wall art.)

Prayers and peace to his friends and family.

So sad to hear this news. I never knew him personally, but just seen him on here posting.

He was such a positive member to the forums, prayers to your family, rest in peace brother.
