I don't know about anyone else, but as I said I would be moving the Earth to get my stuff or my money back. I know not everyone would be willing to, but I think after 2 years I would probably say screw it and move on. We can't necessarily just keep a thread alive to hammer the board long after the nail has vanished though.
^ I agree, RD.
FWIW- I'm not the type of person who's trusting enough, to ever be giving a $7,500+ possession away, for something in return to be delivered at a future date. Especially knives. I can only assume, that the OP has spent a very long time agonizing with his very poor, very regrettable business decision...much longer than I would've.
With that said. If Dustin Turpin had done this to me, I too would be moving the Earth to get restitution one way or another. Two years and counting, is a very long time, to have an issue like this looming over anyone's head...I personally would've had some type of resolution, or moved on, a very long time ago.
As far as I am concerned, there is value in making a situation public on BF or IG. Will it resolve it? Maybe not. But Turpin did respond in a fashion a couple of days ago and there is no doubt in my mind that it would not have happened if he were not feeling some pressure from posts like this to tell his side, such as it is.
^ There is no doubt in my mind, that Dustin Turpin has read this thread, & that it
IS adversely affecting/impacting him! You never know: maybe Dustin will get off of his depressed, lazy ass & finally make your 2 knives, or pay you back, just to quiet you up.
OP: you have the perfect opportunity to deal with Dustin Turpin head on, in 2 weeks (provided he shows up at Blade Show 2016). After 2 long stressful years, you owe it to yourself to finally have some closure & put this situation in the rear view mirror. A round trip to Atlanta & a couple of nights in a clean room, will be much cheaper than any potential legal action. Blade Show on the other hand, might not be so kind to your pocket book.

Either way, it might be a win/win situation.
Putting this never ending stressful incident behind you once and for all: PRICELESS!
Best of luck!
Edit:
I know in 99% of situations you catch more flies with honey than vinegar ,however those 1% need a little vinegar in their life. Dustin deserves whatever fury you can conjure up.
^ This!!!
