I to am waiting for a knife that ordered and paid for in full start of September 2002.

In December 2002 I asked about the status on the knife and after a while Rob replied that he expected it to be finished in a couple weeks.
When I hadn't heard anything anymore and didn't get answers to emails I send between half January 2003 up to last week I posted on the BF.

Then February 8, 2003 Rob contacted me saying he had been very busy working on the Liquidmetal knife stuff and that my knife would be prepared for cryo in a week or two.

I don't feel alarmed yet although I would have loved an update on my knife's status when the completion was put forward into the future 'again'.

I have one of Ron's knives and he has a solid reputation so I really hope to see my 'dream knife' within the next couple of months.

Damn, I'd hate to see you guys get ripped off and for a IMO top maker's name to go to the trash pile. I have some of his knives and they are really top notch.

Correction !, I'm not 'ripped off' nor do I feel it I'm just waiting for my knife and I'm absolutely sure that I'll get it.

I've waited a lot longer for a Zero Tolerance set from Busse and when I finally got them these production 'knives' were below what I had expected from them finish wise.

Now I'm waiting a little for a real custom knife and Ron's fit and finish is very very good, so what's a few months extra.

I guess it's just the 'building' expectation of 'your' dream knife that makes one a little impatient at times.
But the plain truth is when one answers emails one can't get on with making knives.
