Ritter RSK2 in textured carbon fiber and CPM Magnacut!

I just got mine. The texturing is not as aggressive as I thought it might be, but, it would be improved by a smooth, nontextured pad directly under the clip to reduce clothing wear.

They look good. I, like someone else here said, really like when manufactures polish the carbon fiber instead of the machined finish. Very few do it though because it takes a lot more time and labor. But anyway, I'm hoping that someone will do a light polishing on one of these so I can check it out. I'd love to get one one of these days and do it myself. I let an old gold class grip go years ago that looked very similar, but without the texturing and always kicked myself.

They have a milled starburst texture pattern radiating from the pivot, so there wouldn't be any polishing on this one.

This picture shows exactly why I prefer smooth CF scales to the textured ones.

Couple of posters above mentioned Ritter Grip. Just want to say that Ritter Grip is different from Hogue Ritter. I don't care much about ABLE vs Axis because they are not much different from each other honestly. But Ritter grip is noticeably thinner behind the edge, making it a better slicer than Hogue Ritter.

imagine if they did that with a good dense ironwood...
a man can dream right?

Would someone PM me the dealer, please? Thank you

Received mine and really like what I see so far. I also have the first run in M390 and the edge on this one is amazing.
Looks to be at 30 degrees (15 each side).
I'm definitely going to use the hell out of it to see how Magnacut performs.
And to echo others, smooth carbon would have knocked this out of the park. Still happy though.

If they do more after this current preorder, highly recommend as its an amazing value.

Sorry that I missed this offering. Based on the feedback, I will keep my eyes open for additional supply

Not mentioned in any of their email newsletters but I just happened to stumble upon this gem on Tuesday evening.I signed up for in stock notification but missed that by hours early Wednesday morning.

I'm enjoying mine but I remain unimpressed with Hogue's edges. Maybe they'd be impressive if you couldn't sharpen a knife well, but mine is uneven and not apexed correctly for the first inch of edge by the tip. It'll be a bit frustrating to even out, and I'd take a Spyderco machine-applied edge any day over Hogue's.

The build quality is okay but nothing particularly special, and there are a few minor things wrong with mine. They seem to have forgotten to polish the blade tang so I had to do it myself to get a smoother and quieter action. Something in the pivot is not quite right and I can't get it adjusted to open smoothly without blade play. There's also voids in the CF, but that's not that uncommon in knife handles.

Overall, it's a great tool and I look forward to testing the supposedly great heat treatment on it, but it definitely isn't flawless.
