One thing we've stressed time after time is that when doing business via the internet, COMMUNICATION IS PARAMOUNT!
This is a two way street. Both parties need to ask questions, and come to an agreement before work is started, or money is mailed.
We've all seen the complaints about lack of communication, and quite frankly, the lack thereof has tarnished the reputation of a few makers, and outright ruined the reputation of some. All because they failed to communicate with their customers. (Some had other circumstances as well, but I digress.)
I will agree here; Sastre makes an excellent product, and has a great reputation. However, it is his lack of communication that creates uncertany, and questions his intentions. Mike isn't the only person to have his motives questioned like this, and he certainly won't be the last. Mike needs to reply to emails and or phone calls, and put Dan, and his other customers at ease.
Again, communication with your customer is paramount, and quite frankly, there isn't very many good excuses not to.
