River City Sheaths

I sent Mike two work knives and received 2 very nice sheaths. The knives snick in and out perfectly and the fit and function are very nice. For the nay-sayers, you do get your stuff back and the final result is worth it.

I'm guessing you mean river city sheaths and Mike Sastre?
It would be good new for every knife guy around if he has everything running smoothly again. I hope more people will support your experience with theres, as I've been wanting one of his whitewater sheaths to replace the one I made when I never got a response from him last year. I don't think anyone has ever doubted his quality.

But perhaps this is best suited to be in the feedback forum.

Im guessing you waited so long for your sheaths that you forgot the name of his business. I would not send a dimestore rusty butter knife to heve him sheath it. There are people who have waited over two years or longer to get thier knives back. The guy at best is a horrible business person at worst a crook.

I am shocked to hear this about river city sheaths, He made a sheath for me about 5 years ago. It was for my Spyderco Native, it was hi quality and turn around time was about a week. I didn't need to send him my knife because it was one he already had. It has been a while and maybe he just got overwhelmed.

I sent money to Mike for a sheath last April and I have not received the sheath to date. In addition, he has not responded to any of communications, so go figure.
