rksoon's 1k posts Giveaway!

It's a picture of a long continuous line of film in a mud puddle. I thought it was the strangest thing, the way it kept looping back on itself without mixing back into itself. When I took a black and white photograph the reflection ended up creating the appearance of the a treeline.

Wow, I couldn't figure out for the life of me what it was. Thanks!

She was around 12 months in this picture. She is 17th months now. I love being a dad!

Ah! So, she's still young! Congrats then, I hear it's the one of the most enjoyable periods in raising a child :)

Wow, I'm surprised more people don't want in on this easy giveaway for a free beater

Oh well, better chances for the guys who've already entered though :D

It's ok. They're just allergic to AUS-8. :D

I quite like it myself. Never did understand why it isn't considered to be much good.

Alright, fine! :D

For those of you allergic to AUS8, I'll let the winner choose between the Seal Pup Elite OR a NIB PE Spyderco Native (S30V). The native doesn't fit my hand, so I've never used it. I know it's hollow ground and has a swedge, but at least it's a better steel! :) I'll edit the original post to add this in. :)

Bah, don't sweeten the pot! I've been working on my haiku skills and trying to figure out which picture to post! :D

My wife took this picture of the tree outside of our house and I love it- all frost covered and vibrant:

And my favorite knife right now is the one I made myself for my wedding (out of the scrap piece of steel that I tried filework on for the first time). I had to finish this once I rebroke my leg and couldn't finish the sword that Juli told me I could wear.

Right on, looks like we got more people :)

Big Mike - I'm with Runsalone on that. WOW. wow wow wow! I remember seeing the first picture somewhere before and thinking, "that looks like quite a beautiful blade," but the second pic blows me away. That is an absolutely stunning piece of craftsmanship; the lines on that blade are truly gorgeous   Since it's my thread and I'm curious, what are the specs on it, if you don't mind?

I don't have my pics on this puter, and I don't know a haiku from a lymeric. But this thread is a blast to look through!
